Advisor.ca reporter Sarah Cunningham-Scharf has won two prestigious awards from the Ryerson School of Journalism: the Seymour Schulich Undergraduate Award in Financial Journalism and the Rolf Lockwood NewCom Scholarship.

As part of her application for the Schulich award, which is the largest at the School of Journalism, Cunningham-Scharf submitted her Advisor’s Edge article on RESPs for kids who play hockey.

Cunningham-Scharf joined Advisor Group as a Rogers M-School editorial intern in 2014 and has been a regular reporter ever since. She also writes our newest Advisor to Client series, Financial advice for, which creates financial plans for famous characters like Mindy Lahiri (The Mindy Project) and Claire Dunphy (Modern Family).
