TMX Group has migrated Alpha to its proprietary trading engine, TMX Quantum.

As part of the company’s overall integration plan, Alpha now operates on the same platform as TSX, TSX Venture Exchange and TMX Select.

“We are working to enhance the value of trading on our equity markets with the incorporation of Alpha,” says Kevan Cowan, president of TSX Markets and group head of equities, TMX Group.

He adds, “Shifting Alpha’s trading system provides customers with operational and service efficiencies. This move represents an important step in the integration of TMX Group following the Maple acquisition.”
