BlackRock names new head of Canadian business

BlackRock has announced the appointment of Marcia Moffat as head of its Canadian business. She starts with BlackRock in September.

Moffat will be joining BlackRock from her role as founder and principal at Compasar Solutions, a management consulting firm. She is currently a board member of Manulife Bank of Canada and Manulife Trust Company, and spent 12 years at RBC.
