Blast from the past: first websites of 25 major businesses

Technology has come a long way since 1990, when the world’s first webpage was launched.

But, you can still check out what the websites of many big businesses looked like between 1990 and 1998, thanks to Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. As Maclean’s reports, this tool gives a glimpse of how the pages of Canada’s largest banks, telecoms and retail chains started out.
