BMO and CIBC advisors move to Macquarie

Tom Gougeon and Shelly Lairar are joining the Gougeon Lairar Investment Team at Macquarie’s Ottawa office. They’re making the move from BMO Nesbitt Burns.

Both have a book worth $147 million and revenues of over $1 million, along with experience in portfolio management, corporate finance, multigenerational financial planning and private equity.

Also, Randy Bretzer is moving from CIBC Wood Gundy to the Edmonton branch of Macquarie.

A tax expert, he has a $30 million book and 14 years experience in financial services.
