BMO Investments has announced the termination of some of its Series NBA and NBF products.

The following NBA and NBF series funds will be terminated, effective on or about October 21, 2016:

  • BMO Bond Fund (both series)
  • BMO Asset Allocation Fund (only NBA)
  • BMO International Value Fund (both series)
  • BMO U.S. Equity Fund (both series)

Effective immediately, these funds are no longer available for additional purchases, including Continuous Savings Plans or Pre-Authorized Contribution Plans. Investors’ existing CSPs or PACs will be cancelled.

In light of the changes described above, investors holding Series NBA securities or Series NBF securities have several options. They can: continue to hold Series NBA or Series NBF securities until the termination date; or they can switch their Series NBA securities or Series NBF securities (if they’re qualified) for securities of another BMO Mutual Fund; or redeem their securities entirely and receive the redemption proceeds in the normal course.
