Reuters reported last week that it is entertaining offers for Canaccord Wealth, its U.K. wealth management arm. It speculated that a pair of private markets players, CVC and Advent International are in the mix.

In a media release, Canaccord Genuity said it “confirms that it routinely evaluates strategic initiatives in consideration of the rights of its strategic and financial minority partner in the U.K. wealth management business aimed at enhancing value for all stakeholders, including its employees and clients. At times, these evaluations involve discussions with potential counterparties, however, there can be no assurance that such discussions will result in any specific outcome.”

Reuters reported that Fenchurch Advisory is advising Canaccord Genuity.

Canaccord Wealth delivered 78.6 million pounds in EBITDA for the year ending in March 2025, according to Reuters. Its assets under management topped 38 billion pounds at the end of June.
