CIBC says its clients can now send money to the United States with no up-front transfer fees. This move builds on the bank’s Global Money Transfer service, which was launched a year ago.

In its release, CIBC notes money can be transferred to friends and family, or can be sent to cover expenses such as personal or rental property costs or university tuition payments.
