Clarus Securities names CEO

The board of directors of independent investment bank Clarus Securities has appointed Jim Christodoulis its as president and CEO.

Christodoulis co-founded Clarus in 2003 with Rod Campbell, previous president and CEO.

Concurrent with his appointment, the board and Rod Campbell have mutually agreed to restructure the Vancouver-based operations of the company by closing the B.C. office. It’ll service that market out of its existing Calgary and Toronto offices.

As a part of the restructuring, the board has also accepted the resignation of Rod Campbell.

Clarus focuses on global mining, oil and gas.
