Echelon Wealth names M&A head

Echelon Wealth Partners Inc. has named Shubo Rakhit managing director of investment banking and head of mergers and acquisitions.

Over the last 25 years, Rakhit has led more than $150 billion of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets issuance, the company said. Most recently, he was an equity partner with KPMG LLP, where he led the capital advisory business, as well as both public and private company mergers and acquisitions.
