Even superheroes have to pay the bills

Fighting crime isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

It’s a time-consuming, unpredictable gig that doesn’t pay, reports news.cnet.com. That means most superheroes would struggle to keep their jobs and make ends meet if they had to walk in our shoes.

Of course, vigilantes such as Batman, Iron Man and Thor all have inherited wealth and status, it adds, but what about the likes of Spiderman, farmboy Superman and the Flash?

Malaysian illustrator Chow Hon Lam has an idea; he thinks they could easily use their crime-fighting skills to pay the bills. Through a growing series of graphics, he’s taken to depicting how popular heroes could put their skills to use in ordinary job settings.

His drawings show Spiderman making tennis rackets, Superman delivering the mail—and, perhaps, saving the postal system from extinction—and the Flash delivering pizzas. To see the illustrations, click here.
