Excel Funds appoints portfolio manager

Excel Funds Management Inc. has appointed Christine Tan as portfolio manager. She will work alongside senior portfolio manager David Kunselman.

“Over the next five years, the emerging markets will become an essential allocation in every portfolio and with the addition of Christine to our award winning teams, we are ideally positioned to deliver solid performance,” says Bhim Asdhir, president and CEO of Excel Funds.

Tan has 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Most recently, she was a portfolio manager at Gluskin Sheff & Associates, where she co-managed a $1 billion equity fund.
