Former HSBC securities head joins advisory firm

Watt Carmichael has hired former HSBC Securities executive Martin Sims as its president and COO.

Sims has twenty years of experience, and spent seven years at HSBC. He developed its full service investment advisory business. He was executive vice president, as well as national director and head of the company’s private client group before leaving in 2010.

Watt Carmichael provides wealth management services to private families and their businesses.
