GM to name first female CEO

General Motors plans to bring on a female CEO, reports Bloomberg.

The outlet was told by a source that the automaker will soon name Mary Barra as the successor of current chief executive Dan Akerson. That would make Barra “the first female CEO in the global automotive industry,” Bloomberg adds.
