Griffin named to Industrial Alliance board

Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. has appointed Emma Griffin to its board of directors.

Griffin has extensive experience in securities and corporate finance. She is the co-founder of Oriel Securities, a mid-market brokerage firm and investment bank, headquartered in London. In 2004, Oriel Securities ranked number one among brokerage firms in the U.K.

Griffin is also co-founder of Refined Selection, a London-based holding company which invests in and creates value in the recruitment and professional services sector. She lives in Montreal.

The Industrial Alliance board of directors, chaired by John LeBoutillier, now includes 15 administrators, including 14 independent members. In addition, women make up 40% of board membership.
