Ink error forces U.S. to scrap $3 billion in $100 notes

Thanks to a printing error, almost $3 billion worth of new U.S. $100 bills are headed for the trash can, reports the National Post.

“The bills apparently fell victim to ‘mashing’ or too much ink, resulting in a less-crisp image,” notes the report.
