With interest rates stalled at rock bottom and heightened equity market volatility, income-oriented clients have been struggling to balance risk and reward.

Invesco Canada has rolled out a new yield-focused portfolio to meet this demand, under its signature Invesco Intactive brand.

The Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolio, also available in corporate class structure, is designed to generate income with the potential for capital appreciation.

“Invesco Intactive Strategic Yield Portfolios offer investors diversification that looks beyond traditional sources of income to enhance yield and are prepared for risk,” says Jamie Kingston, senior vice-president, product management and development at Invesco Canada.

The portfolio mixes high-yielding asset classes with assets that have historically performed well in times of economic stress. The portfolio will be managed by the company’s global asset allocation team, which employs proprietary risk-management techniques.
