Advisor Group content editor Jessica Bruno has won first place in the Best Feature Series category (medium circulation) of the Canadian Community Newspaper Awards.

The award is based on articles Bruno wrote for The Hill Times, a Canadian weekly that covers the federal government, where she was a reporter from 2010 to 2013.

Bruno and Hill Times online editor Bea Vongdouangchanh co-won the award for “The Whistleblowers,” a series profiling people who exposed misconduct at their organizations.

Bruno’s knowledge of parliamentary procedure has enhanced Advisor Group’s publications since her arrival in 2013, most recently through an editorial about making Service Canada the sole point of contact for executors.
