Mackenzie announces changes to Cundill team

Mackenzie Investments has announced changes to its Cundill team, effective September 6.

Andrew Massie, co-team lead, has assumed lead portfolio manager responsibilities on the Mackenzie Cundill Global Dividend Fund.

He’s also shifted from co-manager to lead manager of the Mackenzie Cundill International Class, and from co-manager to lead manager on Mackenzie Cundill Global Balanced Fund.

Massie has 19 years of investment experience and has been with the Cundill team since 1984

Lawrence Chin, co-team lead and Cundill’s head of research, is joining Massie as the Global Balanced Fund’s co-manager. Chin has 13 years of investment experience, having started with the Cundill team in 1999 as an investment analyst.

Additionally, portfolio manager David Tiley is no longer with the firm.

The Cundill team is made up of eight members.
