Mackenzie makes changes to Cundill team

Mackenzie Investments announced that effective today, Lawrence Chin joins Andrew Massie on Mackenzie Cundill Value Fund.

Chin has been with the Mackenzie Cundill Team for 14 years and as the team’s director of research, has gained a comprehensive understanding of the companies in the funds that the team manages. He has extensive portfolio management experience as the lead manager of Mackenzie Cundill Canadian Security Fund and will also assume the lead for Mackenzie Cundill Value Fund. Massie remains on the fund as co-manager and will increase his focus on managing institutional mandates.

David Slater will succeed Chin as the team’s director of research. Slater has 16 years of investment experience and has been with the team since 2007.
