Macquarie appoints VP of public venture capital

Macquarie Private Wealth has announced Cameron Rees has joined the firm as vice president of public venture capital. He’ll be based in Calgary.

This new role underscores the company’s commitment to the public venture capital sector.

Rees has been involved in a significant number of transactions in the public venture capital market throughout his career. Prior to joining Macquarie, he spent 12 years with the Calgary office of the TSX Venture Exchange. There, he most recently oversaw the Calgary Listed Issuer Services team and was actively involved with listings, financings and mergers and acquisitions.
