Manulife launches private wealth arm

Manulife Financial has launched Manulife Private Wealth, which will offer investment management, banking and advisory services.

The debut coincides with the opening of its first branch, at 250 Bloor Street East in Toronto. A Vancouver branch is scheduled to open in 2013.

The division will use a goals-based investment management approach and a team model, and offer expertise across asset classes and investment styles.
