(February 14, 2003) After a successful 2002, organizers of the five-city Advisor Forum series of conferences are already working on this year’s program, promising to help advisors build stronger client relationships and demonstrate the value of professional advice. Conference dates have been announced for the fall in Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax.
Last year’s speakers included some of the financial services industry’s leading experts, including renowned U.S. advisor Nick Murray as well as consultants Lloyd Williams, Guy Cabana and Julia Littlechild. The program also included breakout sessions and exhibitors’ booths.
“In 2002, we took a step toward our constant goal of delivering compelling content that provides financial advisors the insight, ideas and tools necessary to grow their practices and serve their clients,” says Kevin Craig, recently appointed as Advisor Forum’s general manager.
Craig says this year’s program will be enhanced based on feedback from previous years and extensive research. “Areas of focused improvement for 2003 include; successful examples of individual advisor tactics and strategies, increased motivational and peak performance content, alternative CE credit opportunities and regionally relevant content,” he says.
