Mercer names leader of Canadian boutique

Ryan Bisch has been appointed as the leader of Mercer’s alternatives boutique in Canada.

He’s a native Canadian and will relocate from Mercer’s office in Sydney to its office in Toronto. The move is effective October 1, 2012.

Bisch’s responsibilities will include representing the alternatives boutique with current and prospective Canadian clients, as well as managing research and consulting primarily in hedge funds, infrastructure and exotic alternatives coverage.

He joined Mercer in 2002 and has spent the last ten years in Australia and New Zealand in its investments and retirement businesses. He’s currently the director of exotic alternatives.
