Mutual fund assets up almost 3% in October

Assets under management (AUM) for the mutual funds industry reached $1.47 trillion for October 2017, reveals an IFIC report. That’s an increase of $40.7 billion or 2.9% compared to September 2017.

Net sales of mutual funds were $2.4 billion for October, up compared to net sales of $1.6 billion for the previous month, and higher compared to net sales of $2.0 billion last October.
