National Bank has named Westwood International Advisors as the portfolio manager to its Omega Emerging Markets Fund.

The fund has been changed to the Westwood Emerging Markets Fund, effective today.

“The growth opportunities of the developing world are currently attractive to investors,” says Brian O. Casey, CEO of Westwood.

National Bank is also launching two mutual funds in Canada: the Westwood Global Equity Fund and the Westwood Global Dividend Fund. Only a preliminary prospectus for both funds has been filed with the Canadian securities authorities to date, and units cannot be bought until receipts are issued.
