Nicola Wealth wins BC CFO of the Year

Michael Taylor, Nicola Wealth Management’s Chief Financial Officer, has won Business In Vancouver’s CFO of the Year Award in the small private company category.

The award was presented last night in Vancouver.

Taylor is also the company’s chief compliance officer, and co-manages the NWM primary and balanced mortgage funds, where he is responsible for selecting the funds’ assets and third-party suppliers and shares accountability for their performance.

Other honourees included Geri Prior, chief financial officer for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and Bill Keen, vice-president finance and CFO, North Shore Credit Union.
