PwC buys Platinum Legal Group

PwC Canada has acquired Platinum Legal Group, a Canadian electronic discovery and litigation support firm.

Led by William Platt, PLG will join PwC’s Toronto office. But the firm will continue servicing clients in Calgary, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, and Vancouver. The firm specializes in electronic evidence management in litigation, competition and investigative matters.

PwC says the buy will boost its services in the areas of data discovery, recovery and analysis.
