Rap mogul inspires Bitcoin rival

The creators of a rival to Bitcoin have named their cryptocurrency after rap mogul Kayne West, reports Time NewsFeed.

“Coinye West” launches January 11 and promises to be a more mainstream and user-friendly alternative to Bitcoin and Dogecoin, the report explains.

News of the release has sparked a flurry of celebrity themed currency puns on Twitter, including “Rupee Murdoch,” “Curt Schilling,” “Count Drachma,” “Franc Sinatra,” “Coinan O’Brien,” and “Robert Dinero.”
