Retraction

On September 14, 2012 we published a bulletin entitled “Woman Fined for Failing to Aid Regulators” about an Alberta Securities Commission matter involving Ms. Meena Singh. In that bulletin, we stated incorrectly that Genesis Land Development had acted contrary to the public interest.

The company to which we referred is named Genesis Land Development Corp. (“Genesis”). In fact, at no time did the Alberta Securities Commission indicate that Genesis had acted contrary to the public interest, nor did it at any point even allege that Genesis had misconducted itself in any fashion whatsoever. Genesis was not even named as a respondent in the Notice of Hearing which led to the disciplinary action against Ms. Singh. Nor was Ms. Singh an employee of Genesis as our bulletin inferred.

We sincerely apologize to Genesis Land Development Corp. for the contents of our September 14, 2012 bulletin.
