Managing the impact of taxes on investment returns can by tricky, which is why Scotia Asset Management launched a solution for retail investors’ non-registered assets: Scotia Corporate Class Funds.

The service is designed to offer investors tax-deferred switching and rebalancing, smaller taxable distributions, and tax-efficient income investing.

Each Fund is offered as a separate class of shares within the corporation. Investors can switch from one class to another without triggering an immediate taxable event.
