It plans to present private placements to investors who have between $1,000 and $50,000 to invest in Canadian entrepreneurs with early stage businesses.

SeedUps’ issuers will offer securities through current exemptions defined in National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus Exemptions and Regulations, and its companion Blanket Order 45-512.

The firm will help companies raise between $250,000 and $2 million. It expects to launch live offerings in November.
