Sentry Investments has announced the departure of Laura Lau, senior portfolio manager, who had been co-managing Sentry’s oil and gas portfolios alongside Mason Granger.

Granger has been named sole lead portfolio manager responsible for Sentry Energy Growth and Income Fund, effective immediately. He also takes over the oil and gas investments in Sentry Canadian Resource Class, NCE Diversified Flow-Through (10) Limited Partnership and NCE Diversified Flow-Through (11) Limited Partnership. “Mason has demonstrated exceptional skills in identifying energy opportunities and positioning our oil and gas portfolios during recent market volatility,” says Kevin MacLean, Vice-President and Senior Portfolio Manager.

Granger was the recipient of a 2011 Brendan Wood International TopGun Portfolio Manager Award.
