Sprott adds to investment team

Sprott Asset Management has named Jason Mayer as a new portfolio manager. He’ll focus on the company’s tax efficient flow-through product offerings.

Mayer has more than 10 years of investment industry experience, and joins Sprott from Middlefield Capital Corporation. He acted as lead portfolio manager on a number of investment funds, with a focus on growth-oriented resource equities.

He’ll join Paul Wong in co-managing the Sprott Resource Class.
