Sprott launches Flatiron Yield Trust

Sprott Asset Management LP has launched the Sprott Flatiron Yield Trust—a specialty income product.

It will focus primarily on Canadian convertible arbitrage, and is expected to generate positive monthly performance with a low correlation to both traditional equities and fixed-income investments.

The trust will be co-managed by Steve Duenkler and Parm Kalirai, co-founders of Flatiron Capital Management. They’re considered one of the leading convertible arbitrage teams in the country, with more than 12 years of experience managing the funds.
