Sun Life names Stymiest to board

Sun Life Financial today elected Barbara G. Stymiest to its board of directors.

Stymiest chairs Research in Motion and also serves as a director of George Weston Limited, the University Health Network, the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research and the Royal Ontario Museum.

In the past, Stymiest served as a member of the group executive at RBC. She’s held several senior positions in the financial services industry including CEO of TSX Group and executive vice-president and CFO of BMO Nesbitt Burns.
