TD recognizes leaders of tomorrow

Twenty high school graduates have won TD Bank’s community leadership scholarship.

Valued at up to $70,000, the scholarship has been awarded annually for 18 years to applicants who stand out as innovative community leaders. They receive $10,000 a year for tuition and $7,500 a year for housing, plus a guaranteed summer job at TD.

For his part, one of the top applicants, Zachary Julian, was recognized for his work as an RCMP youth group member. He leads addiction prevention workshops, and also created a First Nations lacrosse team.
