TFSA names new VP of sector growth

Matthew Hobbs has been named as the vice president of sector growth and development for the Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA), effective immediately.

Hobbs has more than 19 years of experience in international trading and investment, and specializes in: foreign direct investment attraction; trade promotion; marketing and events; government and stakeholder relations; and business development in the public and private sectors.

Formerly with UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), Hobbs has worked in the UK, India, Turkey, USA and Canada. He recently served as the UK’s director of inward investment & marketing in Canada.
