TMX Group names new CFO

TMX Group Limited has named John McKenzie as chief financial officer, effective July 11, 2016.

McKenzie has been with the company for 16 years, most recently serving as president of the Canadian Depository for Securities Limited, Canada’s equity and fixed income clearing house. After joining TMX Group in 2000 as director of Finance and Administration, McKenzie held increasingly senior executive positions in Corporate Strategy and Development and Finance.

In addition to being CFO, McKenzie will remain as CDS’s president until a successor is appointed.
