U.S. stocks continue to shine

U.S. equities are about to hit record highs, proving investors have been able to look past the political gridlock over fiscal deficit, reports FT.com.

There appears to be a sense among investors that the U.S. economy can withstand the $85 billion sequestration cuts.

U.S. benchmark stock indices have gained over 12% since last November.
