Vanguard launches international high yield ETF

Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. has launched a new international equity ETF that tracks high-dividend companies.

The Vanguard FTSE Developed ex North America High Dividend Yield Index ETF tracks an international equity index that measures the return of common stocks with a high dividend yield, the firm said in a release.

The fund focuses on 23 developed markets outside North America and has a management fee of 0.28%. The ETF includes large-cap and mid-cap companies with above-average dividend yields, the release said.

The fund makes quarterly distributions and is rebalanced annually.
