Western Financial buys two insurance agencies

Western Financial Group has acquired two insurance agencies, boosting the firm’s presence in Manitoba and Saskatchewan and increasing the product shelf for agents in those offices.

The two agencies are David Duncan Insurance Agency, located in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, and Leith & Glassford Agency Ltd. in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. Both will now be operated as Western Financial Group offices in these communities.

“Our newest Manitoba location in Gilbert Plains will help us continue to provide products and services to its residents at a level they deserve,” said Lana Wood, President of Western Financial Group (Network) Inc. “Our acquiring of Rosetown will allow us to expand our exposure in south-central Saskatchewan.”
