A Canadian Business special report identifies Canada’s 100 most wealthy. Who topped the list?

Coming in at #5 is James Pattison, whose business empire includes supermarkets, Ocean Brands seafood and car dealerships. The 85 year old is worth a cool $7.39 billion.

At #4 is the Rogers family with $7.6 billion. The Irving family is sitting on $7.85 billion, thanks to its stake in the oil industry.

In second place is Galen Weston, whose recent acquisition of Shoppers Drug Mart could shoot his net worth well beyond its current $10.4 billion.
