Zurich Insurance chairman quits after CFO’s apparent suicide

Zurich Insurance Group is launching an investigation on whether its former chairman put “undue pressure” on the CFO before his apparent suicide, reports citopbroker.com.

Further, the acting chairman, Tom de Swaan, says the company’s board will probe the relationship between Josef Ackermann, who abruptly resigned from his position as chairman on Thursday, and CFO Pierre Wauthier, who was found dead earlier this week.
