Caitlin Ebanks is Director, Exchange Traded Funds at CIBC Asset Management. Caitlin leverages her deep knowledge of ETFs and the Canadian ETF ecosystem to educate and enhance the client experience with a holistic approach. Caitlin has experience working with a variety of clients, including advisors, institutions and direct investors navigating each segment’s unique investment needs.  

Caitlin began her career in financial services in 2011. Prior to joining CIBC Asset Management in 2025, Caitlin held roles in institutional sales and relationship management that focused on providing alternatives, active and passive pooled funds, and ETFs to Canadian pensions, endowments, foundations and family offices. Before this she spent over 10 years at Canada’s two largest ETF providers helping CIRO Advisors incorporate ETFs into their model portfolios, asset allocation decisions and tactical trades through partnership and education. In addition to supporting CIRO Advisors directly, she has also engaged with dealer head office due diligence processes to recommend and approve a variety of solutions for use at their firms. Her focus on the client, building trust and true partnership truly sets her apart as a trusted resource by her clients.    

Caitlin is Co-Head of Events and Education at Women in ETFs Canada. She received her Bachelor of Arts from York University.
