Éric Morin

Director, Global Macro and Strategy, at CIBC Asset Management

Éric leads a team of senior analysts and strategists who are responsible for analyzing global markets, conducting investment research, and making trade recommendations in multi-asset and currency management. Before joining CIBC Asset Management in 2016, Éric served as a Senior Economist in the International Economic Analysis Department at the Bank of Canada.

Éric holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Applied Economics from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Montreal and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Economics from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is also a CFA charterholder.
